Mavvy Lane

Mavvy Lane is a neighbourhood brunch cafe in the Nundah Village precinct that treats dogs as regulars, so breakfast plans do not have to leave the dog at home. It runs on a morning rhythm: doors open at 7am on weekdays and the kitchen wraps up early afternoon.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor, undercover and footpath seating along the front of the cafe. The footpath tables give a dog room to stretch out beside you, and friendly dogs on leads are the norm here. Water bowls are usually available, though on a busy morning bringing your own is the safer bet.

The vibe and the menu

The kitchen leans seasonal, with a brunch menu that changes and fresh, well-portioned plates. Coffee is on Black Lab beans, and regulars order the flat whites, wraps and banana bread, with the almond croissant and a banana smoothie getting repeat mentions. Hours run 7am to 2pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 1pm Saturday and 8am to 1pm Sunday, so it is a breakfast and lunch stop rather than a dinner one.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits in the Nundah Village strip, with street parking on Buckland Road and the surrounding streets. Check the signs for time limits before you settle in. Nundah train station is a short walk away if you would rather leave the car at home.

Close by with the dogs

The village strip suits a post-coffee wander, and the Sunday farmers markets nearby are often a good outing with a dog. For an off-lead stretch, the fenced run at Boyd Park is a short drive, and Toombul Dog Park is another local option. If you want a second coffee stop, Fuel & Co is also dog-friendly in Nundah.
