Fuel & Co is a busy breakfast-and-lunch cafe on Buckland Road in the heart of Nundah Village, and it is one of the more reliably dog-welcoming spots in the precinct. If you want a proper feed rather than just a takeaway coffee, this is the pick.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco seating, including the lane-side tables next to the cafe and the green area out front. Tables are spaced with room for a dog to settle beside you. Water bowls are usually out for visiting dogs, but bring your own on a busy morning to be safe. Keep dogs on-lead and out of the indoor service area.

Good to know. The kitchen is the draw here, with hotcakes, chilli scrambled eggs and a bacon-and-egg roll combo among the regular orders, plus consistently good coffee. Staff have a reputation for being genuinely friendly to dogs.

Getting there. Address is 190 Buckland Road. Street parking exists but fills fast at peak times, so try the side streets if Buckland Road is full, or walk in from Nundah train station a few minutes away.

Nearby with the dogs. You are in Nundah Village, so a post-coffee stroll along the main strip is easy. Boyd Park fenced dog park is a short drive for a proper off-lead run afterwards.
