Coco Belle Espresso Bar

Coco Belle Espresso Bar is a casual, industrial-chic espresso bar at 21 Queens Road in Mount Pleasant, a short stroll off Canning Highway, and it is one of the easier brunch stops in the riverside suburbs to bring a dog. The alfresco seating out front is the draw: shade, room for a settled dog at your feet, and staff who are known to bring out the odd treat or puppuccino.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables along the front of the cafe. Keep yours leashed and settled beside the table, since the alfresco strip is shared with other diners and fills up on weekend mornings. There is no fenced space here and no sign of a dedicated dog menu, so the deal is simple - a shaded footpath table, water on request, and a staff team that is clearly used to four-legged regulars. Bring your own bowl as backup on hot days.

The vibe and the menu

The kitchen leans into generous brunch plates, and the topics that keep coming up are the mushroom medley, croissants and pancakes, plus vegan options and coeliac-friendly choices. Coffee holds up well with locals, and the mood is neighbourhood-casual rather than destination-fancy. Hours are short and early: 6:30am to noon Monday and Tuesday, then 6:30am to 3pm Wednesday through Sunday.

Getting there and the riverside walk

Queens Road sits one block south of Canning Highway, with street parking on the surrounding blocks. The Canning River foreshore is close by for an on-lead riverside walk, and off-lead stretches open up at Point Walter and the Attadale foreshore, roughly ten minutes away.
