Pig & Fig Cafe

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor and courtyard seating, on lead and under control. The main indoor dining room is people-only under standard WA health rules. Staff are famously friendly with canine guests, but the water bowls are not guaranteed, so carry your own travel bowl, especially in summer when the courtyard is in full sun early.

The kitchen runs a classic brunch list with the big breakfast, brekky wraps, acai bowls and specialty coffee getting the regular mentions, plus the odd brisket burger and pancake special at lunch. It opens 6:30am to 2:30pm every day, so it is a mornings venue; the courtyard fills quickly through the weekend brunch peak, while weekday mornings are the easier bet for a table with the dog underfoot.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits in a small local shopping strip on Moreing Road, with street parking out front and on the surrounding residential streets. It can tighten during the weekend brunch rush, and the Canning Highway arterials are a couple of minutes away if you are driving through.

Close by with the dogs

East Fremantle Community Park Fenced Dog Park is a short drive north for off-lead time before breakfast, and Silas Street Reserve is a quieter fenced option in the same pocket. The Swan River foreshore paths around Attadale suit an easy on-lead leg-stretch either side of coffee.
