Bulli

Bulli is a laid-back coastal cafe on David Low Way at Marcoola, sitting almost opposite the beach entry, which makes it an easy pairing with a beach walk. It is one of the more reliably dog-friendly spots along this strip.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on leads in the outdoor and patio seating, where they can settle beside you comfortably. They are not permitted inside the indoor dining area, so aim for the outside tables. Bring your own bowl for water.

Getting there. On David Low Way with street parking along the road and nearby side streets. It is an easy walk from the beach boardwalk or surrounding accommodation.

Nearby with the dogs. Marcoola Beach is directly across the road for a pre- or post-coffee walk, and the beachside boardwalk runs through the area for a longer stroll. Check council signage for on-leash and off-leash sections before you let the lead off.

When to go. Mornings are the natural time here, tied to a beach walk; go earlier if you want a quiet table before the weekend crowd builds.
