The Quadrant

The Quadrant is an all-day cafe at 38 Moore Avenue in West Lindfield that gives dog owners a proper footpath setup: shaded outdoor tables out the front where dogs are welcomed, away from the bustle inside. It opens early, 6:30am on weekdays and 7am weekends, and runs until 2:30pm, so it is a morning-and-lunch venue rather than an afternoon one.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating out the front of the cafe; the indoor room is for customers without dogs. Water bowls are generally available on request from staff, though carrying your own backup bowl is a good idea during the breakfast rush. The strip of Moore Avenue out the front is leafy and low-key, which helps a settled dog.

The food

The menu covers all-day breakfast and lunch: eggs benedict and a popular brekkie wrap on the savoury side, plus croissants, gluten-free treats and smoothies. There is a small kids' play area and local art on the walls, and the cafe hosts occasional live music, which makes weekday mornings the easiest slot if you want a quiet table with a dog.

The cafe sits on Moore Avenue in West Lindfield, a short drive from Lindfield station. Street parking is available nearby, with more room outside the peak breakfast hours. Lindfield village and its shops are close by if you need to add errands, keeping the dog wait short.

Edenborough Sportsground on Bent Street is Lindfield's designated off-leash area, open off-lead outside organised sport times under Ku-ring-gai Council rules, and Lindfield Soldiers Memorial Park in East Lindfield has dog-friendly walking loops.
