Cafe Feoh

Cafe Feoh runs the corner of the Pacific Highway in Lindfield, a short walk from the train station, and the footpath tables out the front are where dog owners land. The spot is easy to pick out: planters and fresh flowers frame a covered outdoor strip, and dogs are comfortably welcome out there with their people.

The dog setup

Tables sit along the pavement in front of the cafe and run partly down the side, mostly undercover, so a light drizzle does not end the plan. Staff are used to dogs and a water bowl is often already out, but bring your own to be safe. Keep yours leashed and close; the Highway carries steady traffic, so a settled dog matters here.

The vibe

The kitchen blends cafe staples with Vietnamese fusion, and the crossover item is the Viet-fusion bacon and egg roll built banh-mi style on crunchy bread. Pork rolls, rice paper rolls and iced Vietnamese coffee carry the theme, while the home-baked granola with nuts, seeds and yoghurt and the steak and cheese roll cover the other end of the menu. Fresh-squeezed orange juice is a morning regular. Reviews point to friendly service, good value and the floral street-front look.

Doors open at 6am Monday to Saturday and 7am on Sunday, closing 3:30pm, which makes this a genuine early-traffic stop for North Shore commuters.
