What visitors mention
Brewing Journeys is a small neighbourhood coffee shop tucked into the Howrah Point Shopping Centre, a couple of minutes' walk from Little Howrah Beach. It is more of a coffee-and-cake stop than a sit-down meal, which makes it an easy add-on to a beach walk rather than a destination in its own right.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome outside, where there is limited seating right near the shopping centre entrance. Keep your dog leashed and close, since it is a shared centre walkway rather than a dedicated courtyard. Water for dogs is not guaranteed, so bring your own bowl to be safe.
Known for. Barista coffee and hot chocolate, plus a solid range of homemade brownies, slices and cookies. Locals treat it as a quick stop before or after the beach.
Getting there. It's at 76 Howrah Road, Howrah, with free parking in the Howrah Point Shopping Centre carpark right out front.
Nearby with the dogs. Little Howrah Beach is about 100 metres away for a post-coffee stroll, and Howrah Point Beach is another close, on-lead walking option.
Good for a quick coffee stop bookending a beach visit rather than a long stay. Confirm outdoor seating availability if you're calling in at a busy weekend morning.
