Dogs may be off lead under effective control, but not within 10 m of the play equipment (City of Clarence).
Glebe Hill Park on Hance Road in Howrah is one of the few small parks where the City of Clarence lets dogs off lead, as long as they stay under effective control.
Off-lead, with one catch
Dogs must stay at least 10 metres from the play equipment. The playground is fenced, which helps, but call your dog in when you pass it.
If your dog's recall is patchy, keep the lead on.
The walk
A local walking trail with a step-free entry runs past the playground and an open kick-about area. There is no official loop length, so it is a short stroll.
Make a day of it
For coffee, Brewing Journeys is close by, and Howrah Dog Park is another option for a run.
It suits dogs with a reliable recall who enjoy a short, easy stroll. Bring water for the dog.
