Pi & Pine Cafe is a modern brunch spot in the Helensvale Homeworld precinct on Sir John Overall Drive, and the reason to bring the dog is its proper dog menu: not just a biscuit on the counter, but cooked options served alongside your own brunch in the undercover alfresco area.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor, undercover alfresco seating, which keeps everyone shaded and gives a dog room to settle. The dedicated dog menu runs roughly $5 to $8, with options such as goat milk, cooked jerky giblets and a scrambled-egg breakfast. Water is easy to ask for, but pack a bowl to be safe.

The vibe and the menu

The kitchen leans playful: specialty drinks including a peanut cream coffee, matcha and a coconut series, cold butter pine-buns, and a full brunch list with fried prawn and tartar among the savoury orders. Hours run 7am to 3pm daily. Quieter early, with brunch crowds building mid-morning; best for social dogs happy around a busy precinct.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits in the Helensvale Homeworld complex with ample parking in the surrounding centre and easy access from the M1 at exit 57, so a spot close to the door is usually simple to find. The complex has flat, paved paths for a short post-brunch stroll with the dog on lead.
