Top Fuel Café

Top Fuel Cafe is a mobile food trailer parked at Gate D, 394 Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, right outside the speedway in Sydney's west. It is a no-fuss roadside setup: proper coffee, a genuinely good bacon and egg roll, and open-air seating where your dog is welcome to sit with you while the trucks and race traffic roll past.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the open-air seating around the trailer, leashed at all times. This is a working roadside site rather than a cafe courtyard, so bring your own water bowl and keep your dog away from the roadway side, where speedway and industrial traffic move fast. The trade-off for the plain setting is space: there is plenty of room to park a dog out of the way while you order.

Worth knowing

The kitchen keeps it simple and does it well: the bacon and egg roll on a fresh milk bun with free-range eggs is the signature, with burgers, wraps, muffins and hot chips behind it, and medium-roasted Arabica coffee that regulars say leans smooth rather than bitter. Hours run 5:30 am to early afternoon Monday to Friday, closed weekends, though exact times can shift with speedway events on the calendar. It suits tradies, track-day crews and dog walkers passing along Ferrers Road.

Getting there and parking

The trailer sits at Gate D of the speedway, with direct access from Ferrers Road and free on-site parking right beside it, which makes it an easy in-and-out stop with a dog on board.

Bungarribee Park Fenced Dog Park at Doonside is a few minutes west and among the biggest fenced off-leash spaces in Sydney, with separate large and small dog runs and water stations.
