What visitors mention
Warrigal Dog Run is one of the biggest fenced off-leash parks in Sydney, set inside Bungarribee Parklands on Doonside Road, Arndell Park, with separate zones for small and large dogs and open sunrise to sunset every day.
The rules. Off-leash from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, gates close in the evening (roughly 6pm to 8pm depending on season, confirm locally if you are cutting it fine). Entry is via secure double gates to stop escapes. Dogs must stay under your effective control and supervision at all times, and aggressive dogs need to be removed immediately. Bag and bin your dog's waste, bins and bags are provided on site.
What's there. The park is split into a large-dog area and a separate fenced small-dog section, so nervous or tiny dogs get their own space. There are drinking water stations, shaded spots, and benches for owners. A coffee truck or kiosk turns up regularly, though don't count on it every visit. Outside the fenced zones there are paved and unpaved trails for an on-leash walk if you want to extend the outing.
Getting there. Free on-site parking off Holbeche Road, about a kilometre north of the M4. It's fairly car-dependent, public transport in the immediate area is limited, but Blacktown and Doonside bus routes get you close.
Nearby with the dogs. Harvey's Social is right next door, an outdoor, dog-friendly cafe that's an easy reward stop once your dog has had its run. Bungarribee Park's wider grounds and playground are also on the doorstep if you're bringing the family too.
Peak times. Saturday mornings are the busiest by far. Weekday mornings and evenings, plus Tuesday and Wednesday nights, are noticeably quieter. The park is large enough that it rarely feels crowded even at busy times, which gives nervous dogs room to keep their distance.
