The setup. Kinship sits at 766 Pacific Parade as part of the Currumbin Surf Club family, right across from the ocean. Dogs are welcome throughout the covered outdoor seating, which is a genuine plus on a wet day when most beachside cafes leave you exposed. Expect plenty of other dogs; it is one of the busier canine spots on this stretch.

Good to know. The kitchen leans into creative breakfasts like potato rosti and wagyu croissants, and the dog offering is real: complimentary water bowls, doggie doughnuts, and the occasional ZIWI Peak beef bite. Profits feed back into beach safety and coastal protection through the surf club. Hours are 6am to 1pm weekdays and 6am to 2pm weekends.

Getting there. Street parking runs along Pacific Parade and the surf club car park is nearby, but both fill fast on weekend mornings, so arrive early.

Nearby. Currumbin Beach is directly opposite, with a good oceanfront walk towards Currumbin Alley. Council leash rules apply on the beach, so keep the lead on unless the signs say otherwise.
