The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables out front on lead; indoor seating is for people only. The footpath setting suits a quick coffee or takeaway rather than a long sit, which actually fits the town rhythm: order, sit with the dog for ten minutes, then keep walking. Carry your own water bowl, as one is not confirmed as supplied.

The vibe

The kitchen leans organic and wholefood: in-house juices and kombucha, fresh salads, breakfast wraps and sandwiches, with single-origin coffee roasted locally at Marvell Street. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are well covered, and the pantry shelves sell house-made granola, dukkah and beans to take home. It runs 7am to 2pm daily, so this is a breakfast-and-lunch venue, not a dinner option.

Getting there

The cafe sits mid-way along Jonson Street in the heart of town. Street parking on Jonson and the surrounding streets fills fast at peak times, so walking in from wherever you are staying is the easier play.

While you're out there

Main Beach is a short walk for an on-lead stroll.
