Happy Days is a community cafe on Banksia Drive in the Byron Arts and Industry Estate, a few minutes' drive from the town centre. The draw for dog owners is the laid-back outdoor setting with a playground right out front, well away from the main-street crush.

Nearby with the dogs. The estate's quiet morning lanes are easy walking, and Belongil Beach South dog exercise area is a short drive away for off-lead time.

Come on a weekday morning for the quietest tables and the freshest sourdough.
