Burwood Park is a short walk away, and Burwood Council allows dogs off lead there only between 6am and 8am daily in the signposted area near the Gardener's Shed, so an early coffee-and-run pairing works but the rest of the park stays on lead. Coronation Club Park is closer still for a quick on-lead stretch.
