Metro Coffee Burleigh

Metro Coffee Burleigh is a busy brunch cafe in the Burleigh Home and Life Centre on Reedy Creek Road, the second site for the Metro Coffee group. It is dog-friendly in its outdoor seating, and the centre setting means parking is rarely the headache it is closer to the beach.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area on a lead, with room to settle while you work through brunch. Staff are accommodating and bring water out, though bringing your own bowl is the safe play on hot days.

The kitchen covers all-day breakfast and brunch with gluten-free and vegan alternatives: the breakfast burger, kimchi pancakes, chilli scrambled eggs with dukkah, honey and ricotta French toast and avocado sourdough, with coffee, juices, smoothies and a small drinks list alongside.

The vibe

Casual and polished rather than beach shack, and it draws a steady crowd through the morning. It opens early, 6:30am on weekdays and 7am or 8am on weekends, and winds up mid-afternoon every day, so it is a breakfast and lunch venue only.

Getting there and parking

Set within the Burleigh Home and Life Centre next to Stockland, with ample parking on site and easy access off Reedy Creek Road. That car park is the reason this works well with a dog: you are close to a table from the moment you arrive.
