Cornerstone Deli/Cafe

Cornerstone Deli/Cafe is a deli-cafe on Wentworth Road in Bringelly, serving the rural southwest fringe of Sydney with coffee, burgers and takeaway from 7am on weekdays. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating out front, which makes it a serviceable stop on the way through to Oran Park or Leppington rather than a destination in its own right. Reviewers point to the flat whites, the classic burger and the egg rolls, with friendly quick service that works as well for a takeaway run as a sit-down.

Dogs join you at the outdoor and footpath tables out front; the cafe interior is off limits. Water bowls are usually available if you ask at the counter, but carry your own as backup. The tables sit close to the car park and passing customers, so keep your dog leashed and settled at your feet.

Worth knowing

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, closed weekends, and the venue shares its building with a bottle shop. There is free on-site parking and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. This is a quick-breakfast or takeaway stop more than a long visit, and the weekday trade suits a morning dog-walk circuit.

For a proper run afterwards, Shale Hills fenced dog park in the Western Sydney Parklands is the big one nearby, with around five hectares and separate large and small dog areas.
