Emerald Hills Dog Park

Emerald Hills Dog Park is a fully fenced, 24-hour off-leash park on Leslie Way in Leppington, serving the Emerald Hills estate and the surrounding south-west growth corridor. It splits into two separately fenced sections for large and small or timid dogs, so you can pick the right pen before the lead comes off.

The dog setup

Off-lead play happens only inside the fenced pens, with dogs kept in sight and under control the whole time, per the Camden Council park listing. Make sure vaccination is up to date before a first visit since it is a busy shared space, and a dog showing aggression needs to be leashed and taken out.

What is there

Each pen runs a double-gate entry so dogs cannot slip out while you get organised, with a water station and bowls, basic agility equipment and bench seating. Bags and bins are provided, though carrying your own is the safe habit. Shade trees help, but the small-dog section sits in full sun for parts of the day, so go early in summer.

Max: latch both gates behind you every time, even when the park is empty. A half-closed double gate is how dogs end up on Leslie Way.

Getting there and parking

The park sits at Leslie Way, Leppington NSW 2179, reached off Camden Valley Way via Raby Road or Emerald Hills Boulevard, with free street parking along Leslie Way in front. Leppington Station is the nearest train stop but it is a 25 to 30 minute walk, so driving is the practical choice.
