Moment Biscuits

The name is the menu, and the morning-only format makes it a genuine early-morning stop rather than an all-day brunch house.

The setup is casual and compact, oriented to takeaway and quick outdoor stops rather than long sit-downs. There is no guaranteed water bowl, so bring your own in warm weather. The Queens Parade strip and the foreshore beyond are popular dog-walking territory, so passing dogs are part of the daily rhythm.

The biscuits are the draw: hand-decorated cookies on vanilla or speculaas bases in the Dutch style, plus melting moments, gingerbread, jam drops and seasonal slices, with gluten-free and vegan options in the cabinet. Coffee runs on Segafredo beans with alternative milks available, alongside loose-leaf tea and cold juices. Locals rate the staff as the know-your-order kind, and the day's baking sells through, so earlier is better on weekends.

Getting there and parking

Queens Parade runs through the heart of Brighton with easy access off the Sandgate Road corridor, and free street parking is generally available in the surrounding residential streets. Because doors close at 11:30am, plan the visit around a morning walk.

Close by with the dogs

For a proper off-lead run before biscuits, Decker Park Fenced Dog Park is nearby, and the Sandgate Foreshore Park Dog Off Leash Area is a few minutes south. Lili's Cafe is the other Brighton morning option, and Capulet & Co in Sandgate suits a second stop.
