The Little Leaf & Bean Cafe

The Little Leaf & Bean Cafe is a relaxed neighbourhood spot on Coromandel Parade, tucked beside the Blackwood Memorial Hall, with a covered outdoor courtyard that makes it an easy all-weather stop with a dog on the lead.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the covered alfresco and courtyard area, on-leash and under control at your table. There is no extra fee for bringing your dog. Water bowls are generally available in the courtyard, but bring your own bowl if your dog is fussy or the cafe is busy.

Known for. Specialty organic coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee, and a menu that mixes cafe classics with Egyptian dishes such as falafel wraps, plus a strong line-up of vegan and gluten-free cakes.

Getting there and parking. Free parking is available nearby around the Blackwood Memorial Hall. The cafe is an easy walk from Blackwood Railway Station if you are travelling by train.

Nearby with the dogs. Blackwood Dog Park on Main Road is a short drive away and is fully fenced, and Belair National Park is a few minutes further into the hills for a proper walk before or after coffee.

Confirm opening hours before you go. As of research, the cafe trades Wednesday to Monday and is closed Tuesdays.
