Blackwood Forest Recreation Park at Turners Avenue in Hawthorndene is the classic post-brunch walk, pine-shaded tracks where dogs can roam under effective control, and Blackwood Hill Reserve has a network of bushland tracks closer to the shops. For another meal stop, The Little Leaf and Bean Cafe is on the same strip, and GANG Eden Hills is a few suburbs over.
