The Dining and Co Beaumont Hills

The Dining and Co is a village cafe in the Beaumont Hills shopping precinct with a proper dog setup: a garden courtyard with its own water station, not just a spot where dogs are tolerated on the footpath. It trades 7am to 4pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends, and draws a strong regular crowd, including plenty of owners walking dogs in from the surrounding streets.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor garden courtyard, on leash. The courtyard has umbrellas for shade and heaters for cooler weather, and a water bowl station is set out for dogs. Indoor seating follows the standard food-venue rule and is limited to assistance animals, so plan to sit outside with your dog.

Worth knowing

This is a brunch and lunch destination: poached eggs, ricotta pancakes, a halloumi vege burger, prawn pasta, bruschetta and corn fritters all feature, presented with more care than the usual suburban cafe. Specialty coffee covers the drinks side, and the cafe has even run a novelty robot waiter carrying food to tables, which the kids tend to love.

Pepsi: Grab a courtyard table near the water station early on a weekend morning, this place fills up fast once the brunch crowd arrives.

The cafe is in the Beaumont Hills Village shopping centre at 3/70 The Parkway, with free parking in the centre's own lot plus free street parking nearby, and an easy stop for anyone in the Kellyville or Rouse Hill area.
