Indwarra Avenue Reserve is a small, fully fenced off-leash dog park on the corner of Indwarra Avenue and Sandbanks Avenue in North Kellyville, about 200 metres from North Kellyville Square. It suits smaller dogs and quick play sessions rather than a big run, thanks to double-gated entry and secure fencing on all sides.

The rules. Dogs must stay inside the fenced area to be off-leash, owners need voice control at all times, dogs cannot be left unattended, and you need to pick up after your dog with bins provided on site. Close both gates behind you when you enter or leave.

What's there. The park has a mix of open grass and natural bushland, a shelter with seating plus a few unshaded seats, a water tap for dogs, and rubbish and dog-waste bins.

Getting there. Free street parking runs along Indwarra Avenue. It's an easy walk from surrounding North Kellyville streets, and Withers Road nearby has local bus routes if you're coming without a car.

Nearby with the dogs. North Kellyville Square is about 200 metres away and has several cafes with outdoor seating for a coffee after playtime.

Max's takegerman shepherd
because the fenced area is on the small side, it fills up fast after school and work hours and on Saturday mornings. Aim for a weekday mid-morning if your dog prefers a quieter, uncrowded run.

Go early on weekdays or expect to share the space. It's a solid pick for a fenced, quick off-leash break rather than a long-haul walk.
