Pet-friendly options include designated cabins such as the Magpie Cottage, plus slab sites for caravans and camping. Book the pet-designated room type explicitly; a pet in a standard cabin is not permitted.

A pet fee applies for cabins, around $15 per pet per night at last check, while pets on sites are typically free. The default limit is one pet per booking unless you arrange more in advance, and the manager applies discretion, so confirm your dog and cabin at the time of booking.

Rules once on site: dogs stay on-lead outside your cabin or site, cannot be left unattended, and are excluded from the pool, camp kitchen, playground and other shared facilities. Bring your own pet bedding and clean up as you go.

The vibe

The park has a leafy, semi-rural feel on the edge of the Pyes Creek catchment, with an outdoor pool, tennis court, camp kitchen and guest laundry. It is practical rather than polished, and the setting feels bushy despite being in Greater Sydney.

Max: because only certain cabins take dogs and there is a one-pet default, name your dog on the booking when you reserve so you are not turned away on arrival.

Getting there and out with the dogs

The park sits on New Line Road in Dural, easiest reached by car from Castle Hill or the M2, with free parking at your cabin or site. For walks, the Pyes Creek swing bridge track is an on-lead bushwalk close by, and Dural's Benzin Cafe and Santo Cafe both welcome dogs outdoors.
