The Greek At The Creek

The Greek At The Creek is a compact espresso bar at 632 Albany Creek Road, wedged into the shopping strip beside Aldi. It opens at 6am on weekdays, which makes it a before-work coffee stop as much as a weekend brunch place, and dogs are welcome at the covered footpath tables out front.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you at the outdoor tables on the covered footpath; indoors is people only. The seating is snug, so a larger dog is more comfortable on the outer edge where there is room to lie down. Staff are used to dog owners and water usually appears without a fuss, though there is no dedicated dog menu, so a collapsible bowl covers the gaps.

Worth knowing

The kitchen is straightforward cafe fare with Greek touches: eggs benedict, banana bread and milkshakes alongside souvlaki and house biscuits. Reviewers rate the coffee and the early hours, and service comes up as friendly again and again. Trade runs mornings through to lunch, 6am to 1pm Monday to Saturday and 6:30am to 1pm Sunday.

Getting there and parking

The bar sits next to Aldi with a free car park alongside the complex, plus street parking on Albany Creek Road. Coming from Brendale or Eatons Hill, it is an easy detour off the main run.

Close by with the dogs

Bleakley Park's fenced off-leash area is a short drive down Leitchs Road, a sensible place to burn energy either side of breakfast, and Albany Creek Dog Park is another local option. For a second coffee close by, Molten Toffee on Dawn Road also takes dogs outdoors.
