The rules. Lead on, dog supervised and well-behaved at all times. Bring your own bowl and water so the dog is comfortable on the deck; the staff are accommodating but do not assume dog amenities are set up.

What is there. Seated tastings come with cheese and charcuterie platters, and there is a non-alcoholic junior tasting if kids are along. The lawn games make it an easy spot to linger rather than rush.

Getting there. 638 De Beyers Road, open 10am to 5pm daily (closed Good Friday and Christmas Day). There is on-site parking with level access right by the cellar door entrance, which helps if you are juggling a lead and a platter.

When to go. Mid-week and earlier in the day is calmest. Book a seated tasting ahead on weekends so you have a confirmed outdoor table for you and the dog.
