MyattsField Vineyards is a boutique cellar door in the Bickley Valley that welcomes dogs into both the outdoor seating and the indoor tasting room, making it a solid wet-weather option as well as a sunny one.

The setup. Dogs are welcome indoors at the cellar door and in the outdoor area, on lead at all times. Water bowls are sometimes out, but bring your own to be safe, and pack a picnic if you want to make a proper afternoon of it.

Known for. Award-winning reds, particularly Shiraz, plus sparkling wine and a quiet, family-run feel with vineyard views over the valley.

Getting there. Union Rd, Carmel, a short drive from Kalamunda. Parking is gravel and on-site, right by the cellar door.

Nearby with the dogs. Lawnbrook Estate and Kalamunda National Park are both close by for a walk before or after your tasting.

Weekends from 11am to 5pm are the easiest time to get a table with a dog in tow, since the outdoor area has more room to spread out than the tasting room. Confirm current trading hours before you drive out, as boutique cellar doors change these seasonally.
