Yarrambat Park Walking Trails

Yarrambat Park in Nillumbik mixes open recreation space, pockets of native bush and views over a green valley and golf course, with tracks to match.

Lead rules

Keep dogs on lead. Nillumbik Shire Council does not name a signed off-lead area within the park, so the lead stays on for the whole walk.

Underfoot

Expect a mix of dirt tracks, gravel paths and open grass rather than a paved loop.

There is plenty of parking near the main recreation areas, and picnic shelters and mature trees give intermittent shade. Toilets and bins are near the picnic spots, but carry water for the dog.

Nearby, Plenty Gorge Parklands - Yarrambat Section offers more bush walking, and Plentiful General Store and Cafe is a good coffee stop.

Spring and autumn mornings suit it best, when the open grass is not baking.
