Warradale Park Reserve

Warradale Park Reserve is a neighbourhood park in Warradale where dogs can come off lead, which is the main reason locals use it. The City of Marion lists it as an off-leash area with a few clear exceptions.

Leads and the off-lead area

Clip on within 5 metres of the playground, at the wetland, and whenever organised sport is being played. Everywhere else, dogs can run under effective control.

The walk

Hard surface paths wind past shaded lawns, the playground and the basketball and tennis courts. It is flat and even, so it suits older dogs and prams.

There are drinking taps with low dog bowls, bag stations at the entries, and parking beside the reserve.

Coffee is close at Banks and Brown. For small dogs who prefer their own space, try Glengowrie Small Dog Park.

When to go

Outside organised sport, when the whole lawn is open for play.
