What visitors mention
Pooh Corner Bushland Reserve is a quiet bushland loop off Wolston Park Road in Wacol, a flat gravel circuit through natural bush that's genuinely popular with local dog walkers and birdwatchers. No off-leash zone here, but it's a solid, low-key walk with real wildlife.
The rules. Dogs must stay on leash for the whole circuit. There's no fenced area and no off-leash zone, and leashing matters here because the reserve is home to eastern grey kangaroos, wallabies and a healthy bird population, plus the usual snake risk in bushland. Keep dogs close and don't let them chase wildlife.
What's there. A free, small car park near the entrance, sheltered picnic areas with barbecue facilities, basic toilets and a water fountain for people and dogs. The track itself is a flat, well-formed gravel circuit of roughly 3 to 4 kilometres.
Getting there. Off the Centenary Highway (M5), following signs to Wacol and Wolston Park Road. Wacol train station is a short walk from the entrance if you'd rather leave the car at home.
Watch-outs. There's limited shade across parts of the circuit, so bring water on hot days even though there's a fountain at the start. Snakes are a real possibility in bushland like this, especially warmer months, so stick to the formed track.

Early mornings and weekdays are the quietest times; weekend mornings bring more walkers and joggers. Good for a calm, scenery-focused walk rather than a big run, best suited to dogs that are solid on lead around wildlife.
