Upper Kedron Recreation Reserve

Upper Kedron Recreation Reserve, at 270 Upper Kedron Road in Upper Kedron, is a Brisbane City Council park with a fenced dog park on site. That means an on-lead lap of the paths and an off-lead run in the same visit.

Lead rules

Dogs can go off lead inside the fenced dog park. Everywhere else in the reserve, including the walking paths, they stay on a lead.

The walk

Paved asphalt and concrete paths loop through open grass, past an all-abilities playground and fitness stations, with suburban trees around the edges.

It is a sociable park rather than a quiet bush walk, so expect families and other dogs.

Max: The playground gets busy. Keep a short lead as you pass it on the way to the fenced area.
