Tredinnick Park

Tredinnick Park is a tidy neighbourhood reserve on Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive in Harrington Park, best known for its train-shaped play set. For dog owners it is a short on-lead stroll that links into the estate's footpaths.

Lead rules

Camden Council requires dogs to stay on lead here at all times. Even on lead, dogs are not permitted within 10 metres of the children's play equipment.

The walk

Paved concrete paths cross mown open green space with young plantings. The park is small, so most locals use it as one link in a longer neighbourhood walk toward the Harrington Park lakes.

Before you go

Shade comes mostly from street trees rather than shelters. Street parking runs along Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive and there are bins on the perimeter, but bring your own water and bags.

Pair it with

The Harrington Lake Walk is the natural extension, an on-lead loop with plenty of birdlife. Afterwards, Sidewalk Society in Narellan is a coffee option.

Max: Mind the 10-metre rule around the train play set. It applies even with the lead on.

It suits a quick daily loop, with the lake saved for longer walks.
