Tivoli Sporting Complex Walking Track

Concrete paths loop through the Tivoli Sporting Complex on Church Street, circling manicured sports ovals framed by big, mature trees. It is a simple suburban walk where a firm surface and open space count for more than scenery.

On lead around the ovals

Ipswich City Council runs the complex, and dogs are welcome on a lead. Signs on site can add rules for particular areas, so read them at the entry.

Work on the walking and jogging loop has been under way, so some sections may be changed or fenced off for construction.

The walk

The concrete paths are flat and even, a good match for older dogs or anyone pushing a pram. The mature trees around the ovals give some welcome shade.

Bring water for the dog and your own bags, and walk as many laps as your dog enjoys.
