Mill Park Lakes Linear Park

The paths known as Mill Park Lakes Linear Park link wetlands and creek reserves around the Mill Park Lakes estate, which sits in South Morang rather than Mill Park. It is a paved, on-lead neighbourhood walk with plenty of birdlife.

Lead rules

The City of Whittlesea is an on-lead municipality. Dogs stay on a lead on all public paths and open spaces here, and come off only inside a signed off-lead dog park.

The walk

Paved shared-use paths follow the creeks and wetlands, with grass tracks branching off. Native plantings and gums line parts of the route, though some stretches are open to the sun.

Bins sit at the main entries, and taps are near the playgrounds along the path network. Street parking is easy in the surrounding streets.

When to go
