Pet policy
Dogs must be on lead (Shellharbour City Council) and kept 10 metres clear of children's play areas and food preparation areas such as barbecues.
Reddall Reserve lines the southern shore of Lake Illawarra at Warilla, with a flat, paved path of about 1.8 km that keeps the water in view the whole way. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

The walk
The sealed shared path is used by walkers and cyclists alike, and it passes works from the Lake Illawarra Art Trail.
Weekly parkrun passes through, so expect a busy stretch on those mornings.
Water and shade
Bubblers sit near the amenity blocks, and bins line Reddall Parade and the picnic areas.
Trees and picnic shelters shade the grass, but the path has open, sunny stretches. Free parking runs along Reddall Parade and fills fast on weekends.
Make a day of it
Stop for coffee at The Happy Fox or BREWED. Cafe.
A weekday morning is calmer. The smooth, level path suits older dogs and prams.
