Warilla Beach Cafe

Warilla Beach Cafe sits under the Warilla-Barrack Point Surf Life Saving Club at 7 Osborne Parade, a few steps off the sand. It is the natural coffee stop on a beach walk here: the outdoor tables face the water, dogs are welcome at them, and the footpath along the front links straight onto the coastal path.

The dog setup

Grab an outside table first, because indoors is people only. Fresh water bowls are provided and the staff have a genuine reputation with dog owners, with the water bowls and welcome showing up repeatedly in reviews. The tables run along the water side and out to the pedestrian path, so a dog settles easily while you order.

Worth knowing

The kitchen keeps it simple: bacon rolls, a good spread of gluten-free options, smoothies and cold drinks through summer. It is a casual, beach-clothes counter rather than a sit-down brunch house, and it fills quickly on warm weekends when the beach is busy. Hours run 7am to 2pm on weekdays and 6:30am to 2:30pm on weekends, so it is strictly a morning-and-lunch venue.

Getting there and parking

Free parking sits in the surf club car park and along Osborne Parade, and the precinct is wheelchair accessible. The cafe is at the southern end of Warilla Beach, an easy run from Shellharbour or Windang via the lake bridge.

Close by with the dogs

The paved coastal pathway and the beach itself carry the on-leash walking, with the tide flats best at low tide.
