Northmead Reserve

Tall trees and plenty of shade make Northmead Reserve a comfortable on-lead walk, looping around baseball fields and a sensory playspace off Elizabeth Crescent.

Lead rules

The City of Parramatta manages the reserve, and it is not a designated off-lead park. Dogs must stay on lead.

The walk

Concrete paths connect grassy open spaces around the sports fields. You pass active baseball diamonds and a skill and sensory playspace, so give the play area a wide berth.

Bins sit by the picnic and playground areas, and street parking runs around the edge, with access from Elizabeth Crescent, Watson Place and Moxhams Road. Bring a bowl, since water on the paths is not assured.

For off-lead time, Burlington Memorial Park Fenced Dog Park is the local fenced option. Coffee Embassy Bar handles the coffee.

When to go

The shade makes it a good summer pick. If your dog chases balls, go when the baseball fields are quiet.
