Noosaville Foreshore Walk

Gympie Terrace in Noosaville has one of the easiest river walks on the Sunshine Coast, a paved path right beside the Noosa River. Dogs are welcome, on lead.

Lead rules

Noosa Shire Council requires dogs on lead along the paved foreshore path. If your dog needs a run, Weyba Foreshore Park nearby has a designated off-leash zone.

The walk

The path is fully paved, which makes it easy going for dogs of any age. It passes river views, grassy picnic stretches, playgrounds and the giant pelican sculpture.

Max: Picnics and playgrounds line the river here. Keep the lead short and the nose out of other people's lunches.

Make a day of it

Head into Noosa Heads afterwards for a coffee at MOTO, or a drink at muse Noosa.

When to go

The smooth surface suits older dogs and prams alike. Come early on warm days, and bring water for the dog.
