Eenie Creek Path

Eenie Creek Path loops through the Weyba Creek and Girraween area of Noosaville, a short way inland from Sunshine Beach. It is a paved, mostly flat circuit with water views, and dogs must stay on lead.

Leads and the off-lead area

Noosa Council requires dogs on a lead along the path and in the surrounding conservation park. Designated off-lead pockets sit on the Weyba Creek foreshore near the AFL ground and Lake Weyba Drive, so save the free running for those.

The walk

The concrete path winds past mangroves, tidal wetlands and the channels of Weyba Creek Conservation Park. Loop options run roughly 4.5 to 6.5 kilometres, and the smooth surface suits prams, wheelchairs and older dogs.

Bushland shades parts of the route, but the open paved stretches take the full sun. Bins are near the sports fields, while water on the path itself is limited, so bring your own.

Getting started

Park at the Girraween Sports Complex on the corner of Langura Street and Eenie Creek Road, or near the AFL grounds on Weyba Road.

For an off-lead swim, the Sunshine Beach Dog Off Leash Area runs north from beach access 29.

Walk it early in summer, when the shaded sections matter most and the path is shared with fewer runners and cyclists.
