Nichols Point Recreation Reserve Loop

The Nichols Point Recreation Reserve Loop is a simple lap of the local sports ground near Mildura. For more, the red gums of Kings Billabong are close by.

Lead rules

Dogs must be on lead in the reserve under Mildura Rural City Council's rules for public open space. The same applies on the Kings Billabong tracks.

The walk

The loop is on grass, circling the oval, the open playing fields and a children's playground. It is short and flat, so pace it to your dog.

For a longer outing, the Kings Billabong tracks start near the Billabong Walks car park and wind through bush and river red gums. Parts of them are open to the sun.

Before you go

Carry drinking water and waste bags, as bins and taps are limited out this way.

Afterwards, try the Irymple Green Belt or a coffee at Bobby + Me in Mildura. Mornings are best in the summer heat.
