Para Hills Reserve

Para Hills Reserve is a suburban green in Modbury Heights, a little east of Para Hills West, with a gravel multi-use path running through it. It is a quiet, on-lead stroll for a morning or evening outing close to home.

Lead rules

The City of Tea Tree Gully manages the reserve, and dogs are allowed on a lead.

The walk

The gravel path passes open grass, a community playground with shade sails and a scatter of park benches. Mature trees line parts of the route, while other stretches are open to the sun.

Getting started

Park in the street or in the local reserve bays beside the wider reserve network. Bins sit at the main path entries.

Bring water and a bowl, since you cannot count on a tap along the path.

When to go

Mornings and evenings are the pick, especially in summer when the open sections heat up. It suits dogs who prefer a calmer walk away from the busier regional parks.
