Mindarie Foreshore and Kinsale Park Trail

The Mindarie Foreshore and Kinsale Park Trail runs 2.8 kilometres along the coast at Mindarie, next to Clarkson, mixing limestone cliff lookouts with loops through low coastal bushland. Dogs are welcome, on a lead the whole way.

Lead rules

The City of Wanneroo manages the trail with the Quinns Rocks Environmental Group. Keep your dog on a lead at all times and pick up after it.

The walk

The track follows limestone and sandy coastal paths through native heath, with views over the beaches and nearshore reefs.

Clifftop sections are open to the sun, while the bush loops offer patchy shade. Water on the track is limited, so carry enough for the dog.

Max: Stay on the marked track along the limestone cliffs. A short lead there is worth the effort.

Getting started

Park near either end of the trail or at Rosslare Park just south of the route, which also has toilets. Bins sit at the access points.

Six Degrees in Mindarie and Brewed Awakening in Clarkson are close for a coffee afterwards.

When to go

Summer middays are hot on the exposed clifftops, so go early or late. Dogs that love a good sniff through the bush will get the most out of it.
