Luna n Soul

Luna n Soul is a beachfront cafe at 80 Ocean Drive in Quinns Rocks, sitting directly across from the sand with ocean views from the tables. It is walk-in only and order at the counter, which suits the post-walk crowd, and the alfresco section is genuinely set up for dogs. This is one of Perth's northern beaches' proper coffee-with-the-dog stops.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating, and staff have a habit of bringing out a water bowl and the occasional treat unprompted. Keep your dog leashed beside the table; the stretch of beach directly in front of the cafe requires dogs on lead, so the run comes before or after. If the outdoor tables are full, check with staff, as the indoor policy depends on how busy it is. A free car park sits on site with street parking along Ocean Drive.

The vibe

The menu is coastal brunch with substance: smashed avocado, acai bowls, brioche French toast, miso mushrooms and a salmon bagel that keeps earning mentions, plus gluten-free and vegetarian options and solid coffee. Hours run 6am to 2pm Monday to Saturday, with a 5am open on Sundays for the early beach crew. Weekends fill quickly, so a weekday breakfast or an early Sunday session is the calmer bet with a dog in tow.
