THE JINDALEE SOCIAL CO.

The Jindalee Social Co. is a beachside-inspired cafe and restaurant at 6/10 Clew Way in Jindalee, one of Perth's northern coastal suburbs. It runs breakfast, lunch and dinner, and unlike most brunch spots it keeps its outdoor seating going into the evening, so a dog-in-tow dinner is a realistic plan here.

The dog setup

Dogs are explicitly welcomed in the outdoor seating area, kept on a lead and clear of walkways and neighbouring tables. The indoor dining room stays off limits. Staff are friendly and accommodating and will usually bring water out on request, though a bowl in the bag never hurts on a warm afternoon.

Worth knowing

The kitchen covers brunch staples and coffee through to casual dinners, with a modern, community-minded feel rather than a fine-dining air. The venue is open long hours every day of the week, and its own site frames it as running breakfast to dinner Tuesday to Sunday, so worth a quick check on a Monday before you set out. Free parking sits behind the venue, with a second entry door on that side.

Getting there and parking

Cle Way is just off the Jindalee Boulevard strip, a few minutes from the coast. Drive in and take the rear car park, or walk over from the surrounding streets if you are staying local. Jindalee Beach along Jindalee Boulevard is close enough for a pre- or post-meal stroll.

Close by with the dogs

For a proper off-lead session, Quinns Dog Beach is a short drive north. Back in the suburb, Piggy Back Cafe and Chase The Rider cover the morning-coffee circuit if you are working through the local listings.
