Lathlain Park

Lathlain Park is the football precinct in Lathlain, home to the Mineral Resources Park ovals and club training bases. It is a straightforward on-lead loop on footpaths around wide open grass.

Lead rules

The Town of Victoria Park does not list Lathlain Park as an off-lead dog exercise area, so dogs stay on lead. That suits a ground where training sessions and sporting crowds come and go.

The walk

Asphalt and concrete paths follow the perimeter of the ovals and link into the community footpaths. The view is open grass and modern sporting facilities rather than bush.

The surrounding streets are wide, quiet and tree-lined, so it is easy to stretch the loop into a longer neighbourhood walk.

There is little on record about taps along the route, so bring water for the dog.
