Akuna Oval sits in Kenmore beside Cubberla Creek Reserve off Akuna Street, just over the line from Kenmore Hills. It is an on-lead spot where a lap of the fields leads into shaded creek corridors.

The walk

Accessible concrete paths link the parking to local walking circuits beside the natural turf fields. From there you pass into the tree-lined corridor along Cubberla Creek.

Mature trees line the oval and the paths, which makes the shade reliable. There are taps and bubblers in the park and bins along the main paths.

Merri Merri Park Fenced Dog Park in Chapel Hill is a fenced off-lead option, and Gap Creek Reserve is a bigger bush outing.
