Jindalee Recreation Reserve

Jindalee Recreation Reserve sits on Curragundi Road in Jindalee, right beside Sinnamon Park, and its sealed path runs past sports fields and club grounds. Dogs are welcome on a lead, as this is not an off-leash area.

The walk

The shared path is concrete and asphalt, easy going for dogs of any age. It passes open green fields, club facilities and the trees that line the park.

It also links into the wider suburban and riverside paths of the Centenary suburbs, so you can stretch the walk further if your dog is keen.

Water and shade

Mature trees along the edges and field boundaries give patchy shade, but the open grass is exposed. Bins are dotted through the reserve and the neighbouring fields.

Bring water, as dog-friendly bubblers are more common along the riverfront tracks nearby. Parking is on site by the sports fields off Curragundi Road.

For off-lead time, Thomas Macleod Park Fenced Dog Park in Sinnamon Park has fenced space to run. Riverlife Cafe at Seventeen Mile Rocks makes an easy coffee stop.

It suits an easy daily on-lead walk, and the flat paved path is kind to older dogs.
