Heritage Park Precinct Heritage Trail

History and a river view share this short trail in the Heritage Park Precinct at North Harbour, Burpengary East. Dogs are welcome, on lead at all times.

Lead rules

The trail passes protected relics, so dogs must stay leashed and off the artefacts. Bring bags and pick up after your dog.

The walk

The path mixes concrete, compacted gravel and grass or dirt tracks. Along it you pass remains of the 1860s Moray Fields sugar plantation, including an old well and homestead foundations, with interpretive signs and views along the Caboolture River.

It sits within the City of Moreton Bay and is looked after as part of the North Harbour community.

Water and shade

Water fountains are at the precinct's amenities block. Picnic shelters, tables and benches along the trail and riverfront give you shaded places to stop.
