Faulkner Park

Faulkner Park is in Graceville, and its riverside setting pairs a fenced off-leash dog park with wide paved paths along the Brisbane River.

Leads and the off-lead area

Brisbane City Council runs the park. Inside the fenced dog area, which has separate zones for large and small dogs, they can run off the lead.

On the riverside paths and across the wider parkland, dogs must be on a lead.

The walk

Smooth, wide paved bikeways follow the river, with wetland habitat and plenty of birdlife along the way. The recently upgraded dog park adds agility equipment and shaded seating.

Max: Cyclists use these bikeways too. A short lead keeps a dog from drifting into a wheel's path.
